This Privacy Policy explains how HireDov (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use hiredov.com and the HireDov service (the “Service”). We act as the data controller for the personal data described here.

• Account & contact data — your name, email address, and company, when you sign up, start a trial, or contact us.
• Sourcing data — the requirements, products, documents, and messages you submit so the Service can find suppliers and handle RFQs for you.
• Billing data — your subscription plan and billing status. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number.
• Usage & device data — pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location, browser and device information, collected through cookies and analytics.

2. How we use your data

• To provide and operate the Service — researching suppliers, sending and chasing RFQs, and producing quote comparisons.
• To process payments, manage subscriptions, and send service and billing emails.
• To support you, respond to enquiries, and improve the Service.
• To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Our legal bases (where GDPR applies) are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving the Service, your consent (for example, for certain cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.

3. Service providers we share data with

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, under appropriate safeguards:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Cloudflare — hosting, security, and email routing.
• AI providers — to generate research, messages, and recommendations. We send only the data needed to perform the task you requested.
• Analytics providers — to understand usage of the website.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

4. Suppliers and RFQs

When the Service contacts suppliers on your behalf, it may send the requirements and contact details needed to request a quote. You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to contact the suppliers you target.

5. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for as long as necessary to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time.
